The Learning Pyramid : It will increase from one to another
- 5% : What lecturer are teaching
- 10% : Our reading
- 20% : Audiovisual
- 30% : When we are doing a demonstration
- 50% : When we are doing a discussion
- 75% : When we are practice doing
- 90% : When we are teaching others
Memory process : When we learn, and remember, we will encode, store, and retrieve the information. The analogy is like a computer
Three different types of memory :
- Sensory memory (SM) – Numerous incoming information from 5 senses will be stored in the sensory memory for an instant
- Short-term / working memory (STM) – Very limited storage
- Long-term memory (LTM) – this is unlimited and large storage
Activity : Write down what you remember
- Lecturer give us 30 seconds to see the numbers and words
- we must write the numbers and words on papers in 30 seconds
